Sometimes I wonder… How long will the UFC wait to announce my participation in an event? I’m not even that big of a deal so what’s the hold up? On one hand, I feel like I should respect their timing and allow them to announce the fight when they feel ready, but on the other hand, the longer I wait the shorter time I have to get sponsors for the event.

I signed to fight on July 5th at UFC 86. As far as I know, both camps signed the fight and barring any injuries the fight will happen. Why not just announce it? I don’t want to step on any toes, but if they don’t announce it by this weekend, check back on Monday cause I’ll give up the gold. I guess they’ll let me know if they don’t like it.
