The time is coming to step up again in my career. Right now, I am training hard for my second bout in the UFC which will take place on August 9 in Minnesota on the undercard of the St. Pierre vs Fitch show (UFC 87). Needless to say I have been training like a madman. Despite the loss at UFC 82 against Jon Fitch, I feel I am ready to compete at the highest level of the sport. My next opponent is Steve Bruno, a young American Top Team fighter with tons of gunpowder in his hands and an iron will. He promises to make this fight an exciting test for me and I fully intend to deliver some highlight reel material. If all goes as planned, my fight will be so exciting that the UFC brass will feel compelled to show it on the PPV after the regular bouts have ended. I doubt they will relegate me to the undercard for very long after seeing this performance.

As usual I have been training at Team Quest for this fight. I have some great training partners and I learn something new from every round in practice. Those lessons will again translate into victories in the cage as I climb the ladder in search of title contention. I would also like to thank Sports Lab Training for all their help getting me ready for this fight. I have enjoyed the torture that Coach Phil Claude has put me through. I suspect the difference will be evident in my fight.

Lots of changes are taking place in the MMA world. Similarly, my career is taking turns and hopefully all of my friends, family and fans can come along for the ride. I will try to update my blog as things develop.
